Radiology Referral Guide

Not sure which scan to request? Download our Radiology Referral Guide Below: An easy-to-use PDF for resident doctors on imaging choices and how to write better scan requests!

The guide is divided into two sections – by imaging modality and by presentation (a practical on-call reference). To keep things manageable, some specialised scans are outside the scope, but we’ve included everything that will cover the vast majority of everyday cases.

When in doubt, always check with your seniors or the on-call radiologist. We’d love your feedback to help us keep improving the guide. Good luck!
