Final Year Series: General Surgery – Acute Conditions

This teaching session, part of the Final Year Series: General Surgery is tailor made for medical students looking to specialize in surgery or those who require additional knowledge as their final exams approach. The inaugural session focuses on acute surgical conditions in general surgery in line with the UKMLA curriculum for Surgery and Gastroenterology. Attendees will learn about conditions and presentations, clinical features, assessment and investigations, and management with focus on the role of a foundation doctor. Recordings will be made available for those who cannot attend the live session or wish to review later. Feedback is encouraged to continually improve future sessions.
