Clinics to Communities: A Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship Teaching Programme for Medics

This course is designed to build your knowledge and understanding of leadership and social entrepreneurship as a medic. It introduces practical models and frameworks that can be applied to clinical leadership, quality improvement, service development, advocacy, and wider system change. The course can be taken for general interest or to support your ongoing leadership learning.

Who is the course for?

This course is designed for:

  • Medical students
  • Foundation and junior doctors
  • Clinicians interested in health equity, leadership, and innovation

This course is made up of six modules, each designed to be completed flexibly and at your own pace.

Every module includes:

  • An On-Demand Session – a recorded teaching session led by a change-maker who is also a medic and has created impact beyond the bedside

  • Insight Notes – curated written content to deepen and contextualise your learning

  • A Growth Moment – a short reflective task to help you consolidate and apply what you’ve learned
